This eye-catching spoon necklace was crafted from the handle of a vintage silver plated teaspoon. The pattern is the collectible "Valley Rose" from 1956. Although the pattern is quite ornate, it's still very comfortable to wear.
It measures just over 1 1/2" long, and has been embellished with tiny, yet brilliant red Swarovski crystals for a pop of color against the silver. I currently have extra spoons in the 'Valley Rose' pattern, so if you'd like different colored crystals, I can make a custom pendant for you. Just let me know what you'd like in the 'note to seller' box at checkout. If I have any questions, I'll send you a note via Etsy 'convo', so please check your messages after ordering if you had a special request.
It's suspended on an 18" silver snake chain with lobster clasp. You may opt for a 16", 20" or 24" chain if you'd like at no extra charge. Just choose the length you like best at checkout.

No, my prices and shipping costs do not include any VAT, GST, duty fees, customs fees or any other fees of any kind. If you are an international customer, and your country assesses any fees on your package, those fees are the customer's responsibility to pay.

What can I expect from vintage silverware jewelry?
Although I choose and refurbish spoons very carefully, they do show small signs of 'vintage character'. Taking into consideration their age and previous history; it's pretty amazing that they shine up as beautifully as they do. I do not use any spoons that have plate loss or extreme signs of use, but please expect a few slight signs from their previous life.
Custom and personalized orders
I accept custom orders on a limited basis. If you'd like me to create jewelry from your silverware, please contact me via Etsy 'convo' and let me know what you have in mind.
If you don't know the name of your pattern, please include a quick picture of one of the handles. I'm very careful and cautious when working with your family heirlooms and there are a few patterns that are harder to work with, or could be problematic.
I prefer to work with either sterling silver or silverplate. Stainless steel pieces are often too thick, and therefore too hard to bend.
No custom orders can be accepted after September 1st.
Lifetime Warranty
Yes, Lifetime. I know, right? Since I’m not part of a group, it would have to be my life, not yours - but I don't plan on going anywhere soon.
I want you to be thrilled with your purchase and know that if there is anything you’re not happy with; we will work together for the best solution. If your item is not right upon arrival, or malfunctions in anyway within one year, I will adjust or repair it free of charge. Please contact me via Etsy ‘convo’ before sending your item back.
After the first year, if it needs repair, or even just a “tune-up”, contact me and I’ll be happy to do that for you for a $6.00 shipping & handling fee. The parts and labor are on me.
