This beautifully detailed spoon bracelet was handmade from two vintage silver plated teaspoons. The pattern is "Chalice" and the last spoon was crafted in 1958. The result is a bold, but very comfortable bracelet.
The bracelet features a pattern that I thought resembled ocean waves, and therefore, the perfect choice for the adornments. It's embellished with an 18mm iridescent abalone shell in a matte silver setting. This especially vibrant abalone shell has been crystal coated for additional strength and the colors change as you move.
Resting on the abalone shell is a free-floating silver sea turtle and peridot crystal & white pearl. All the elements a turtle loves. Just the right amount of flash, and carefully proportioned to the size of the bracelet.
This colorful sea turtle bracelet is finished off with a sterling silver lobster clasp for security. There are also extra links for an adjustable fit, and they're topped off with a peridot crystal and pearl at the end. Your purchase also includes a simple bracelet helper tool, so you can attach your lobster clasp all by yourself.

GIFT SIZE:
The bracelet has extra links, so the 'gift' size will fit a 6 1/2" to 7 1/4" wrist; so it will fit most average wrists nicely. If it's a gift and you're not sure of the size, the "GIFT" size should still be fine for most wrists anywhere within the average range. However, if you think your recipient may be smaller or larger than average, please leave me clues in the 'note to seller' box at checkout.
CUSTOM SIZE:
For a truly custom fit, you'll be prompted at checkout to provide your actual wrist measurement - with nothing added - so I can fit your bracelet just for you. It will still have extra links so you can wear your bracelet as snug or loose as you like.

What can I expect from vintage silverware jewelry?
Although I choose and refurbish spoons very carefully, they do show small signs of 'vintage character'. Taking into consideration their age and previous history; it's pretty amazing that they shine up as beautifully as they do. I do not use any spoons that have plate loss or extreme signs of use, but please expect a few slight signs from their previous life.
Custom and personalized orders
I accept custom orders on a limited basis. If you'd like me to create jewelry from your silverware, please contact me via Etsy 'convo' and let me know what you have in mind.
If you don't know the name of your pattern, please include a quick picture of one of the handles. I'm very careful and cautious when working with your family heirlooms and there are a few patterns that are harder to work with, or could be problematic.
I prefer to work with either sterling silver or silverplate. Stainless steel pieces are often too thick, and therefore too hard to bend.
No custom orders can be accepted after September 1st.
Lifetime Warranty
Yes, Lifetime. I know, right? Since I’m not part of a group, it would have to be my life, not yours - but I don't plan on going anywhere soon.
I want you to be thrilled with your purchase and know that if there is anything you’re not happy with; we will work together for the best solution. If your item is not right upon arrival, or malfunctions in anyway within one year, I will adjust or repair it free of charge. Please contact me via Etsy ‘convo’ before sending your item back.
After the first year, if it needs repair, or even just a “tune-up”, contact me and I’ll be happy to do that for you for a $6.00 shipping & handling fee. The parts and labor are on me.
